India’s WPI inflation drops to 1.89% in November 2024
In November 2024, India’s annual wholesale price index (WPI) inflation rate was 1.89 per cent, a decrease from 2.36 per cent in October, as per the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The month-on-month WPI change was a marginal decrease of 0.06 per cent.
Notable price increases in food articles, textiles, and machinery contributed to the positive inflation rate.
