Japan’s Hagihara & Mitsui to improve blue tarpaulin recycling

Hagihara Industries and Mitsui Chemicals are launching a trial in December 2024 to distinguish Hagihara’s products from others in used blue tarpaulins for improved horizontal recycling.
Mitsui’s chemical tracing technology will help identify materials in recovered tarps, enhancing quality and increasing recycled content in new products, contributing to a circular economy.
