Germany’s INEOS Styrolution unveils recycled polystyrene yoghurt cup
INEOS Styrolution has completed a project using mechanically recycled polystyrene in yoghurt cups, achieving food-contact quality via its EU-registered ‘super clean process.’
Consumer tests showed 90 per cent acceptance.
The innovation, meeting new EU packaging rules, reduces CO2 footprints and will debut in Lidl stores in early 2025, advancing circularity.
