Indian Textiles Ministry launches agro-textile centre in Gujarat
India’s Ministry of Textiles, in collaboration with SASMIRA, has launched a climate-smart agro-textile demonstration centre in Navsari, Gujarat.
Covering 15,000 square metres, it showcases agro-textile solutions like shade nets, ground covers, and pond liners.
The centre will provide live demonstrations, practical training, and IoT-based monitoring.
