No growth in UK real GDP in Q3 2024: ONS estimates

UK real GDP is estimated to have shown no growth in Q3 2024, revised down from the first estimate of a 0.1-per cent rise, the Office of National Statistics said. The quarterly path of real GDP at an aggregate level is unchanged from Q1 2023 to Q1 2024. However, there have been downward revisions of 0.1 percentage point in Q2 and Q3 2024. In November 2024, South Korea's apparel imports rose to $907.518 million, marking a 5.22 per cent increase year-on-year, despite a sharp 32.16 per cent decline from October. Nov German industrial products producer prices up 0.1% YoY, 0.5% MoM

The producer prices of industrial products in Germany were 0.1 per cent higher YoY and 0.5 per cent higher month on month (MoM) in November. This was the first YoY increase recorded since June 2023. Higher capital goods prices were the main reason for the YoY rise. 60 textile firms closed in Indonesia between 2022, 2024: APSyFI

Sixty textile firms closed in Indonesia between 2022 and 2024 and around 250,000 workers in the sector lost their jobs, according to the Association of Indonesian Filamentary Filament & Benang Producers (APSyFI).
